Today we are exposed to alternative approaches in just about every aspect of our lives. Healthcare and Education are major areas being greatly impacted by the current wave of alternative thought. It was reported in the January 1993 edition of the New England Journal of Medicine that one out of three members of the U.S. adult population used unconventional therapy in 1990. Reportedly up to 80% of American healthcare consumers are utilizing some form of alternative healthcare products and/or services. However, less than 10% of the nation's healthcare professionals know anything about the concepts of Natural Medicine & Functional Healing. This is producing what could become a major hazard to our health. As the baby boomers continue to age, their demands for a more natural approach in addressing their growing healthcare needs is predicted to continually increase.

In a few short years, just about 100% of Americans will be utilizing some form of natural products and/or service to address their health care needs. If there is not an ample number of healthcare professionals adequately trained to address the growing demands for natural health care, the major component of our population with disposable and discretionary resources will go to whomever may appear capable of providing the services they desire.

It is our belief that providing health care professionals an opportunity to participate in educational programs that emphasize the functional aspects of Life, Health, and Healing in an organized, professional, and integrated setting, is a noble service and benefit for all those seeking quality alternative healthcare.

In 1998, the then 25 year-old California nonprofit charter of Quantum University joined forces with the International College of Homeopathy, an Idaho nonprofit organization, and Veritas International University, a California nonprofit organization to form Quantum-Veritas International University Systems, a critically vitalistic center for higher learning, now known and referred to as QVIUS. This institution is designed to address the academic demands of the medical community as well as the professional student. Courses are tailored to accommodate the busy professional. Collectively these institutions joined forces to promote one primary purpose referred to as "the QVIUS mission".

The mission of Quantum Veritas International University Systems is to re-establish an awareness of, accurate understanding of, integration of, respect for, and practical application of the indispensable universal laws governing Life, Health and Healing and train students in the science and philosophy of those healing arts whose governing principles recognize and respect the indispensable Universal Law Observation of an immaterial essence expressed through matter is what distinguishes the functional thinkers from the Traditional reductionistic thinker (those that base their reality only on things that can be experienced by the material/physical senses). Universal laws form the foundation of functional philosophy and its governing principles. Study of the integrated functional healing arts and sciences includes the academic and clinical investigation of the mode by which universal intelligence is transported / transmitted to and through the physical being, thus animating and expressing (life force).

Natural laws that are believed to be those that govern the universe, are the same laws believed to govern the Natural Healing arts i.e., Ayurveda, Chiropractic, Homeopathy, Oriental Medicine, etc...

These healing arts are based on the dynamics of physics and are but a few that are recognized as methods by which the transport of universal intelligence thought living organisms is facilitated. However, these processes need to be further observed and researched.

The goal is to graduate physicians and associated healthcare professionals who are well trained in Functional Medical Science & Healing so that they may be fully prepared to work in an integrated setting along-side other professionals within the health care community.

Principles traditionally accepted by universities of the world have primarily been based on Newtonian reductionistic views that see reality as the sum total of its physical, visible parts. As a result medical training has primarily focused on teachings based in Allopathic medical science.

"QVIUS" is an academic institution designed to serve as a model of education for the Postgraduate, Graduate, and Undergraduate student. The goal is to produce both well-trained professionals and paraprofessionals who are thoroughly grounded in the health sciences, possessing medical skills, and a comprehensive knowledge and appreciation for the healing arts.

Functional Healing Arts are commonly referred to as "alternative" because they present an approach to health and healing different from that of traditional western medicine. Alternative Health Care, one of the fastest growing industries in the United States, reportedly has annual revenues including products and services in excess of 100 billion dollars.

Our teaching concentrates and focuses on finding the derangement in the communication between Innate Intelligence and the expression of its Vital Force. Learned techniques are then applied to the body in an attempt to correct these energetic derangements. Quantum Veritas International University Systems remains committed to teach, research, apply and perpetuate Universal Laws and Truths to benefit mankind.
